Cookie Policy

Last updated 10 June 2026

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We use a small number of them to make simplyestate.co.uk work, to understand how it is used and to measure our advertising. Analytics and advertising cookies are set by default; you can opt out at any time through our cookie banner, and we honour a stored opt-out everywhere — in your browser and in our own systems. This page works alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle the personal data behind these cookies.

The categories we use

  • EssentialNeeded for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice. These do not require consent and are always on.
  • AnalyticsHelp us understand anonymous, aggregated usage so we can improve the site. Set only if you accept analytics.
  • AdvertisingLet us measure how our ads perform so we don't waste budget on irrelevant ads. Set only if you accept advertising.

We use Google Consent Mode: until you accept analytics or advertising, those signals are sent in a denied, cookieless state. We do not currently use TikTok or any other advertising cookies; if that changes we will update this list and ask for your consent first.

Your choices

When you first visit, the banner lets you Accept all, Reject all (equally easy), or Manage each category. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not stop you using the site. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by clearing the dw_consent cookie in your browser — the banner will then reappear — or by managing cookies in your browser settings. You can also turn off third-party advertising cookies in your Google ad settings and Meta ad preferences.
